Android Creator Will Establish Company Smartphone?
Andy Rubin, known as the man behind the birth of the
Android operating system, reportedly preparing to return to the smartphone
business. This information was obtained from reports The Information, recently.
From these reports reported that Rubin was trying to
recruit personnel to build a new mobile phone company. Nevertheless, Rubin has not known role in the company, as the
leader of director simply funders.
Citing the pages of The Verge, Thursday (12/03/2015), the
possibility of new projects will be funded through the Rubin Playground Fund, a
startup incubator that is also formed Rubin. Playground himself reportedly
already managed to raise US $ 300 million.
As information, Rubin is one of the people behind the
company that was later acquired the Google Android in August 2005.
After joining Google, Rubin then led the team to develop
a Linux-based operating system kernel, which is currently known as the Android operating
system.
But in March 2013, Rubin decided to resign from his
position as boss of Android at Google.
Then in November 2014, Rubin officially left Google after
overseeing the process of acquiring a
robotics startup by Google.
