Apple Becoming The Most Powerful Laptop Brands

Results of a Consumer Reports survey released recently showed Apple's MacBook Air and MacBook Pro laptops are the most stubborn become alias most reliable in the market.

Apple Insider reported, as quoted by ZDNet, Thursday (12/03/2015), the publication surveyed 58 thousand customers who purchased a laptop between 2010 and 2015.

While it is known almost 20 percent of users reported some kind of damage in the first 3 years after purchase, the majority of them in serious system problems, the failure rate Apple reaches 10 percent for all of his laptops during the same time period.

And in particular, the level of damage to the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro respectively 7 and 9 percent. As every year, the MacBook line got a collective failure rate of about 3 to 4 percent, according to ZDNet much lower than devices running Windows.

The Apple laptop that suffer repeated damage reaches 42 percent. This figure is lower than the 55 percent for Windows laptop.

Interestingly, the publication shows that while more reliable MacBook, MacBook is more expensive in terms of cost of repair, if the MacBook is damaged.

Then, Consumer Reports also revealed that shoppers glued to the AppleCare extended the warranty, which topped the list of technical support services outlets earlier this year.

Finally, 71 percent of survey respondents who bought a MacBook completely satisfied with the reliability, a figure that far adrift from 38 percent for Windows users.
