WhatsApp Block Link to the Telegram

Instant messaging application WhatsApp has recently been known to block the links that lead to the application Telegram. Telegram.me link sent to WhatsApp only appears as a message and is not listed as a hyperlink.

In fact, it is known link can not be copied to other applications. Citing information from the pages of The Verge, Tuesday (01/12/2015), this block is not felt by all devices.

However, consistent in a single device, thus blocking done well for a username and a link as individual messages or chat rooms.

Telegram itself known to have confirmed this. And, reportedly made by Russia's application had already started releasing several updates to address this.

However, this update is called not evenly across all devices using WhatsApp. It is estimated so cause of the blockage is not present on all devices at once.

Enterprises blocking link is known commonplace on Facebook, as the owner of WhatsApp. Earlier, in 2010, Facebook has been criticized for blocking the Pirate Bay links in its chat system and in News Feed page.

Nevertheless, Telegram itself known not overly concerned with blocking. Because, until today not known this was intentional or accidental blocking. Facebook and WhatsApp themselves called still reluctant to comment on the issue.
