Facebook Is Ready To Make An Autonomous Car Project?
Note year-end 2015, Facebook has registered the domain name Facebook.car, Facebook.auto dan Facebook.cars. Registration that can be interpreted as the website that was founded by Mark Zuckerberg it's ready to rival Google's autonomous car.
Quoted from the Daily Mail, last Tuesday, speculation of another show Facebook register domain names is to protect automotive related products from Facebook.
The registration of three domain names it might be just a little bit to facebook because Facebook has been known to have at least 2300 domain.
The trend of technology companies that register and purchase domain names outside of their core business have been many. For example Apple who register a domain name Apple.car, the auto speculated Apple to develop the iCar. While Google has also been known to register its domain that smells of automotive i.e. .car, .auto.
Step technology companies to register a domain is to avoid a costly legal battle of 'cybersquatters'. Cause unknown 'cyber squatters' was diligent buy a certain domain name, and then if needed a technology company, it will be sold at a price which is very expensive.
