BlackBerry Want to Create a Smart Car

Difficulty restores the glory of the BlackBerry, CEO John Chen said he was happy to see the development company that leads lately. He even enthusiastically expand its software into the smart car.

This was revealed in an interview with Bloomberg. Chen said it would consider partnering with a company that already makes automatic cars like Tesla, Google and Apple possibilities.

"Of course! I would love to do," Chen said as reported by Bloomberg, on Tuesday.

He said BlackBerry has established a number of previous cooperation, among others, with Google in several fields. So he was very excited to expand the partnership.

"QNX technology, our software platform, is actually working with Apple car strategy, as well as Google. And I would like also to work with Tesla," he said.

Chen added, not many know if the BlackBerry is already a player is taken into account in the automotive industry today. This is also the reason that strengthens the Canadian company to extend its scope in this field.

"We are involved in a lot of cars in the industry, many vendors cars, our software in 60 million cars. So naturally if we want to step up to the next automatic generation of smart cars," he said with confidence.
