How much Shipping Letters to Mars?
Scientists believe Mars someday will be inhabited by humans. If it really happens, then humans on Earth can communicate with the inhabitants of Mars. There is an interesting question, namely how much it costs if it sent a letter to Mars?
Oliver Giddings, 5-year-old boy astronaut candidate for the future of Lytham St Anne's in Lancashire, England who asked a question that may never occur to everyone.
Oliver asked Royal Mail (UK post office) about how much it costs if he wants to send a letter to the Red Planet. After consultation with the NASA Kennedy Space Center in Florida, Royal Mail finally got the answer.
To send a letter to Mars takes as many as 18 416 stamps "first class" worth £ 11,602.25. Hearing the answer, Oliver was quite shocked because the cost of sending a letter to Mars is very expensive.
"Wow, it's a lot of money!" Said Oliver surprised.
The figure obtained Outreach team of NASA Mars by measuring the distance between the Earth to Mars using the Curiosity mission as an example and severity calculated for a standard letter.

Based on how much weight the spacecraft, compared to what it costs to get to Mars, then to something that weighs up to 100 grams will cost around $ 18,000 (£ 11.600) to fly to Mars.
Royal Mail then pegged the cost of £ 2.25 to send a letter from UK to NASA's launch site, and totals £ 11,602.25.
