The use of drones, or unmanned aerial devices, ranging often used for purposes not good. A professor of mechanics from Michigan Technological University also created a dangerous drone catcher device of this kind.

Mo Rastgaar inspiration, the creator, appears when he heard the World Cup organizing committee set up a sniper to shoot down drone-threatening. "I think, if the threat of drone, you will not want to shoot him. What if he was carrying explosives? Better capture and take it away, "he said as quoted from Michigan Tech News, Thursday.

The catcher tool has a simple system: drones are equipped with giant nets. After successfully determining the location of a bully drone, the holder can immediately launch the drone control of hunters to capture him. Nets can catch the drones from a distance of 40 feet, or about 12 meters. The selected nets are large and leveled at high speed until small nimble drone was not able to escape.

Attempts to escape, such as flying irregular, it actually made the nets getting wrapped around the bully drone. Furthermore, according to Rastgaar, drone hunter pretty stretched nets to the surface of the ground in a safe location.

The hunter drones speed 64 kilometers per hour, with a width of 2,5x2,5 meter nets. This measure was deliberately chosen so that the net can catch the drones, without having to aim precisely. Although not mentioned exactly, Rastgaar revealed his team chose the largest sized drones on the market today. They plan to patent this hunter drones.

Earlier, Japanese police have announced troop hunter drones using a similar concept. While the United States alone cope with the threat of drones by requiring registration of all owners of drones in the country.
