Worst PC Sales Drop In History

The PC market is reported to have the worst drop in history, falling from 10.6 per cent since 2014. In the midst of the onslaught of laptop and ultrabook, Apple reportedly still could keep its PC market and help the market share or share of the PC market during 2015.

A company based in Cupertino, California increasing the global computer market by 2.8 percent in the fourth quarter of 2015 to 7.9 percent over the previous year. This is the largest growth of vendors last year based on figures from IDC.

Meanwhile, HP seen its market share fall 10.1 percent in the same period, compared with Dell lost 5.7 percent. While the Chinese manufacturer Lenovo saw market share fell by 4.5 percent to 20 percent, but still maintains its position as the most popular PC maker in the world due to strong sales in North America.

In addition, Asus sales rose since 2012 because the company increased market share of 0.8 percent. While Apple could come back to live because of their MacBook with a 12-inch MacBook launched in March 2015 and updated iMac with Retina display 4K and 5K in October 2015.

Overall, PC sales in 2015 fell 10.6 percent compared with the previous year, as consumers rely on their devices for a long time and are increasingly turning to tablets and large screen smartphone.
