YouTube More Trusted Than WikiPedia
According to a recent study, young people aged 12-15 years have left online encyclopedia and switched to video based websites.
To find serious things happening in the world, eight per cent of young people turning to YouTube and only two per cent of young people who choose Wikipedia.
The number is up significantly from 2014. In 2014, with just three per cent of young people use YouTube for the purpose, while Wikipedia six percent.
To search for hobbies and interests, 35 percent of teens to the age group 12-15 years it prefers YouTube, while only three percent who consulted on Wikipedia. The amount is also increased from last year by 26 percent.
For the purposes of creativity, as much as 44 percent of young people turning to their favorite youtuber for guidance and just four per cent who use Wikipedia.
The figures are also much changed from last year in which 33 percent of teens use YouTube as a guide creativity, while the use of Wikipedia decreased, from six percent in 2014, as quoted by Digital Spy.
