Google Cardboard Help Doctors Save Baby's Life

You may have previously heard that Google Glass has helped a lot of people for a variety of activities, ranging from the use by workers at airports, police and doctors. In addition to Google Glass, Google turns Cardboard also recently used by a doctor.

As reported by the Uber Gizmo, there was a 4-month-old baby who has a small-sized liver and lungs left nothing. In order for these tiny babies survive, the doctors wanted to perform surgery that is performed in a children's hospital Nicklaus Florida.

Dr. Juan Carlos-Muniz, head of the department MRI Nicklaus, decided to create a 2D scan of the baby's liver into a stereoscopic image. Then, the image is transferred to iPhone and put the phone to Google Cardboard, so the friend surgeons, Dr. Redmond Burke, can see clearly what is happening in the baby's liver is named Teegan Lexcen.

Cardboard Google may make doctors see more clearly about the condition of the baby's heart to find out where he should first make an incision that is in the middle of the chest.

This operation takes 7 hours with successful results. Teegan this little baby now has a better life expectancy.

For those of you who do not know what Google Cardboard, this tool looks like the glasses made of cardboard as a vehicle for virtual reality (VR) or virtual reality.

You just need to put the smartphone in this box, then can see and interact with whatever is shown by the screen like a real smartphone.
